In NL they are extremely rare, and most of the time they are counted to the togoensis subspecies.

In NL sind sie extrem selten, und meistens werden sie zu den Unterart togoensis gerechnet.

In Belgium I think they hold competittions where they time how long chaffinches sing for. The chaffinch that sings for the longest amount of time wins.
