Auf ein Neues! War fast fertig, da war plötzlich alles weg! *grummel*
Hi,
PLEASE HELP US TO STOP THE THOUSENDFOLD KILLING OF CROWS !
Approved by the "Lower Saxony state government" (Niedersachsen, Germany) and in cooperation with the "INSTITUTE OF WILDLIFE RESEARCH", belonging to the "UNIVERSITY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE HANNOVER", thousands of crows were caught alive and killed by beating them on the head.
In 2004 up to February 2005 more than 5700 birds lost their lives in that horrible way.
And all this is done in the name of the science!
SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Hunters and farmers put the blame mostly on crows with regard to predation of endangered meadow-breeding birds (like as peewits).
This position is very blassed.
The results of many convincing studies (published by serious scientists) showed: less than one percent in the nutrition of crows are eggs or chicks of meadow-breeding birds.
It`s a KILLING without reason.
What`s the sense of doing this?
However, Prof. Pohlmeyer (Institute of Wildlife Research, University of Hannover) and the Government of Lower Saxony are insusceptible to these facts.
DEAR FRIENDS:
In your own countries, parrots (amazons, cockatoos and others) often are caught, trapped and killed.
For what reason?
Your parrots are our crows!
PLEASE HELP US TO SAVE THE CROWS IN GERMANY FROM THIS TERRIBLE WAY OF DYING!
